Abrupt Closure and Loss of Side Branch

Shown below is a pre-intervention angiogram with significant lesion in the mid LCX with continuation into the proximal part of obtuse marginal branch.

Shown below is an angiogram with ongoing intervention on the significant lesion described above.

Shown below is a post-intervention angiogram with occlusion at the mid LCX depicting abrupt closure. It can also be considered as a loss of side branch, as the occluded mid LCX looks like a side branch after the origin of obtuse marginal branch.
