Air embolism secondary prevention

Overview
Once an air embolism is suspected a physician must take further step to prevent additional emboli or growth of emboli.
Secondary Prevention
If air embolism is suspected during a procedure:[1]
- Flush should be stopped
- Rotating hemostatic valve should be opened
