Echocardiography may show the following abnormalities:

• Ventricular dilation (dilated cardiomyopathy)
• Fibrosis
• Decreased myocardial function

Ultrasound abnormalities found in this disorder include:

• Pelvi-calyceal dilatation in patients with urologic problems
• Bladder ultrasound examination may reveal elevated post-voiding residual volumes
• Hepatomegaly may be noted in liver ultrasound
