Physical Examination
Appearance of the Patient
Patients with Alstrom syndrome have distinctive facial characteristics (deep-set eyes with a rounded face, thick ears, premature frontal balding, and thin hair).
Extremities
Wide, thick, flat feet, and short stubby fingers and toes may be seen.
