Overview
There is no laboratory test to diagnose memory loss. however, it is important to obtain toxicology screening, alcohol, glucose, electrolytes level.
Laboratory Findings
- Amnesia is largely a clinical diagnosis, following test maybe helpful in determining the underlying cause:[1]
- Toxicology screen
- Alcohol Level
- Glucose Level
- Electrolytes
