CT
- There are no CT scan findings associated with a primary anal fissure. However, a CT scan may be helpful in the diagnosis of secondary causes of anal fissure or when it is not visible under physical examination. It can be helpful to differentiate from other diseases like perianal abscess and fistula.[1]
