Aortic sclerosis history and symptoms

Aortic sclerosis is generally an asymptomatic condition that is usually detected as an incidental finding on transthoracic echocardiography.

• Mostly asymptomatic
• If the patient becomes symptomatic, immediate transthoracic echocardiography is required to evaluate disease progression to aortic stenosis
