Aortic stenosis cost-effectiveness of therapy
Editor-In-Chief: C. Michael Gibson, M.S., M.D. [1]
Overview
Transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI) is more cost-effective compared to medical management among aortic stenosis patients unsuitable for surgery. Among patients suitable for surgery, surgical aortic valve replacement is more cost-effective than TAVI.[1]
