There are no specific laboratory findings associated with aphthous ulcers.

- There are no laboratory findings associated with aphthous ulcers.[1]
- Despite the absence of specific laboratory findings, patients must be evaluated with complementary tests such as blood cell count, inflammatory and hematological markers and vitamins. Serologies are also important to exclude infectious causes.[1]
