Aplastic anemia primary prevention

Overview

There are generally no primary prevention strategies for most cases of aplastic anemia. Avoidance of insecticides, herbicides, and other toxic chemicals can decrease the risk of acquired aplastic anemia.

Primary Prevention

  • There are generally no primary prevention measures for most cases of aplastic anemia.
  • Avoidance of exposure to insecticides, herbicides, organic solvents, paint removers, and other toxic chemicals may lower the risk of aplastic anemia.[1]
