Autoimmune lymphoproliferative syndrome primary prevention

Overview

An autoimmune lymphoproliferative syndrome(ALPS) is a genetic disorder that is inherited in most cases. So, there are no primary prevention guidelines so far.

Primary Prevention

For the individuals with severe clinical phenotypes as ALPS-FAS which is caused by biallelic pathogenic variants, having severe refractory cytopenias developed lymphoma, or having complications from immunosuppressive therapy require bone marrow transplant which might be the only curative treatment.[1]
