Behenyl alcohol, also docosan-1-ol is a saturated alcohol, a fatty alcohol.

It exhibits antiviral activity against lipid-enveloped viruses including herpes simplex virus (HSV). Behenyl alcohol is used for treatment of recurrent herpes.
