Overview

As the treatment is primarily symptomatic and can be controlled with NSAIDs, the treatment is relatively affordable. Because of their low cost, NSAIDs are amongst the most popular and effective drugs in controlling inflammatory induced pain.^[1] An average bottle of ibuprofen containing 30 tablets can be purchased for less than $14 in the United Sates.
