Brodie abscess history and symptoms

Overview

Brodie’s abscesses are mostly seen in children and adolescents. It has gradual onset and can be difficult to diagnose. It presents mainly with bone pain.

  • The most common symptoms are bone pain and limping.
  • Patient may presents with less common symptoms of soft tissue erythema and swelling.[1]
