Overview

Other imaging studies for carcinoid tumor include somatostatin scintigraphy with 111Indiumoctreotide, bone scintigraphy with 99mTc-methylene diphosphonate (99mTcMDP), 123 I-metaiodobenzylguanidine (MIBG) scintigraphy, capsule endoscopy (CE), enteroscopy, and angiography.
