Brain MRI may be helpful in the detection of brain metastasis in patients with chronic myelogenous leukemia.

Brain MRI may be helpful in the detection of brain metastasis in patients with chronic myelogenous leukemia.[1] MRI is not needed to diagnose CML, but it may be done to assess the status of a particular organ, like the spleen. It is more sensitive than a CT scan.
