• Kidney, Ureter, and Bladder (KUB)

  • If nephrolithiasis is suspected (screening test)

    • A KUB radiograph will detect calcium-containing, struvite, and cystine stones
    • This imaging technique will miss uric acid stones, small stones, and stones overlying bony structures
