Overview

There are no x-ray findings associated with colorectal cancer. However, a chest x-ray may be helpful in the detection of lung metastasis.

X-ray

There are no x-ray findings associated with colorectal cancer. However, a chest x-ray may be helpful in the detection of lung metastasis.
Lung metastasis on chest X-ray normally appears as peripheral, rounded nodules of variable size, scattered throughout both lungs.^[1]
Atypical features include consolidation, cavitation, calcification, hemorrhage, and secondary pneumothorax.^[1]
