Overview
Bone marrow biopsy is another diagnostic study to find the cause of epistaxis, particularly if leukemia is suspected.
Other Diagnostic Studies
To diagnose more rare causes of epistaxis, other diagnostic studies can be helpful such as:[1] [2]
- Bone marrow biopsy may be helpful to diagnose rare causes of epistaxis such as leukemias.
- Biopsy of suspicious areas, including the nasal cavity, may be helpful in the case of tumors.
