Overview
Other diagnostic study for esophageal stricture include esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGD) for detection malignant causes . Manometry is used in cases of esophageal stricture due to dysmotility.

Esophagogastroduodenoscopy and manometry are other diagnostic studies that can be used in the diagnosis of esophageal stricture. [1][2]
- Esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGD) is done for staging suspicious malignant causes that were diagnosed in barium esophagogram.
- Manometry is used in cases of esophageal stricture due to dysmotility.
