Abdominal ultrasound may be helpful in the diagnosis of complications of essential thrombocytosis. Findings on abdominal ultrasound that may be helpful in the diagnosis of complications from essential thrombocytosis include splenomegaly.[1] There are no electrocardiogram findings associated with essential thrombocytosis.
