Overview
There are no established measures for the primary prevention of fever of unknown origin however some precautions can decrease the chances of contracting infections that cause FUO These are:
- Avoidance of contact with infected people
- Avoidance of unnecessary travel to places where some disease are infectious
- Proper vaccinations
- Avoidance of animal contact
- Avoidance of recreational and unnecessary drugs etc.[1]
