Overview

MRI may be helpful in the diagnosis of gallbladder cancer.

MRI,MRA can help in differentiate benign from malignant gallbladder lesions.^[1]^[2]
The combination of MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) with MRA (magnetic resonance angiography) is particularly useful in diagnosing the following ^[3]^[4]
- Involvement of biliary tract
- Vascular invasion
- Involvement of liver
- Involvement of lymph nodes
