Renal ultrasound in patients with HIV-associated nephropathy (HIVAN) reveals higher renal echogenicity.[1]

Ultrasonography

Renal ultrasound in patients with HIV-associated nephropathy (HIVAN) reveals higher renal echogenicity.[1] Normal or low renal echogenicity excludes the diagnosis of HIVAN.[2]
