Overview
An x-ray may be helpful in the diagnosis of hypocalcemia. Findings on an x-ray suggestive of hypocalcemia include trabeculation and femoral changes.

- An x-ray may be helpful in the diagnosis of hypocalcemia. Findings on an x-ray suggestive of hypocalcemia include:[1][2]
- Trabeculation in the upper end of the femur
- Osteomalacia with looser zones
- Rickets
- Osteoblastic metastases from certain tumors
