There is no treatment for Japanese encephalitis; the mainstay of therapy is supportive care.[1]

Medical Therapy

There is no treatment for Japanese encephalitis; the mainstay of therapy is supportive care. Treatment is symptomatic; rest, fluids, and use of pain relievers and medication to reduce fever may temporarily relieve some symptoms.[1][2]
