Junctional bradycardia laboratory findings

Junctional bradycardia patients may have no definite cause or may be the result of various other problems. If junctional bradycardia patients present with symptoms, a generalized approach is done to find the precipitating factors.

Based upon the patient’s history, consideration should be given to checking the following:

• Digoxin levels
• Lyme titers in patients where the disease is endemic
• Renal function and electrolytes
• Complete blood count
• ABG : To rule out hypoxia and respiratory acidosis
