Overview
Abdominal ultrasound may be helpful in the diagnosis of Langerhans cell histiocytosis gastrointestinal lesions among the pediatric population. Findings on abdominal ultrasound suggestive of Langerhans cell histiocytosis include well-defined, hyperechoic, band-like, periportal hepatic lesions.

Abdominal ultrasound may be helpful in the diagnosis of Langerhans cell histiocytosis gastrointestinal lesions among the pediatric population.
