Overview
On CT, the lipoma is seen as a well-delineated mass with absorption density characteristic of fatty tissue.
CT Scan
- CT scan is useful in diagnosing lipomas.
- On CT, the lipoma is seen as a well-delineated mass with absorption density characteristic of fatty tissue.[1]
- Intussuscepted lipoma can also be seen.
- CT scan can also differentiate a lipoma from liposarcoma.
