  • Lymphangitic spread of tumor refers to tumor growth in the lymphatics of the lung.
  • Seen with lung, breast, GI and prostatic neoplasms

Pathological Findings

  • The radiographic manifestations of pulmonary lymphangitic carcinomatosis include reticular densities, Kerley B lines, and subpleural edema.
  • Hilar and mediastinal adenopathy may occur.
