Lymphoplasmacytic lymphoma x ray

On chest x-ray, lymphoplasmacytic lymphoma may be characterized by enlarged lymph nodes, pulmonary infiltrates, nodules, effusion, and cardiomegaly due to congestive heart failure.

• Chest x-ray may be used to evaluate the following:^[1]
  • Enlarged lymph nodes
  • Pulmonary infiltrates (this is especially important in patients who are immunocompromised while receiving chemotherapy)
  • Nodules
  • Effusion
  • Cardiomegaly (due to congestive heart failure)
