Microangiopathic hemolytic anemia history and symptoms

Overview

The patients have a wide spectrum of clinical picture ranging from asymptomatic to anemia, thrombocytopenia, fever, altered mental status and impaired renal function[1]. Some patients may also present with abdominal or cardiac symptoms[2].
