MRCP

ERCP

  • ERCP is the gold standard diagnostic tool for Mirizzi’s syndrome. [2]
  • It can accurately show the presence and location of fistula (which might be missed on MRCP).
  • It is also beneficial therapeutically and can facilitate in the laparoscopic surgery. [3]
  • Since ERCP is an invasive procedure, it is associated with complications and should be done with caution.
