Overview
The main mode of treatment of mucinous cystadenocarcinoma is chemotherapy and radiation.
Medical Therapy
- Primary modality of treatment of mucinous cystadenocarcinoma is surgical resection followed by chemotherapy and radiation.[1]
- Adjuvant therapy after resection of the tumor with positive margins and involved lymph nodes has shown to improves survival. [2]
