Neuroblastoma echocardiography or ultrasound

Ultrasound in the neuroblastoma shows heterogeneous solid masses due to vascular, necrotic and calcified content of the masses. When it is present in the adrenal, it displaces the kidneys inferiorly.

Ultrasound may be helpful in the diagnosis of neuroblastoma. Findings on an ultrasound suggestive of neuroblastoma include:^[1][2]

• Heterogeneous solid masses due to necrotic, vascular and calcified content of the masses

• 
  Neuroblastoma observed on ultrasound as a large right suprarenal mass with heterogeneous echogenicity.^[1]
