Overview

Nifuroxazide (INN) is an oral nitrofuran antibiotic used to treat colitis and diarrhea. It is sold under the brand names Ambatrol, Antinal, Bacifurane, Nifrozid, Ercefuryl, and Endiex (CZ, SK, PL). It is sold in capsule form and also as a suspension.
