Patients with NAFLD usually appear asymptomatic. Physical examination of patients with NAFLD is usually unremarkable.

Patients with NAFLD usually appear asymptomatic. Physical examination of patients with NAFLD is usually unremarkable.[1]
Approximately 50% to 60% of patients with MASLD have mild to moderate hepatomegaly, while less than 5% have splenomegaly. More than 80% of patients are overweight or obese, 60% to 70% have atherogenic dyslipidemia, approximately 60% have prediabetes or type 2 diabetes, and up to 50% have hypertension.[2]
