There are no diagnostic x ray findings associated with orbital cellulitis.^[1]

X ray findings

There are no diagnostic x ray findings associated with orbital cellulitis. In cases where CT scan is contraindicated, plain radiograph is indicated prior to MRI in patients with suspected history of metallic ocular injury or metallic implants.^[1]^[2]
