There is limited information about the historical perspective of PSVT. In January 1998 the first epidemiologic study of the general population in the USA was published. Catheter-based radiofrequency ablation has improved the treatment of PSVT, since 1980S catheter ablation has improved progressively especially in terms of safety and specificity.
