Overview

Pridinol is a muscle relaxant.

This is formed by conjugate addition of piperidine to ethyl acrylate to give the aminoester, followed by addition of phenylmagnesium bromide.

Uses

It is used as an antiparkinsonian and anticholinergic drug.
