Pseudoxanthoma elasticum surgery

Overview

For excessive areas of skin, plastic surgery may be needed. For the growth of abnormal blood vessels in the retina, laser eye surgery may be needed in forms similar to that used in diabetic retinopathy (eye damage due to diabetes). Collagen and autologous fat injections have been used for the treatment of mental creases.^[1]
