Quingestanol
Editor-In-Chief: C. Michael Gibson, M.S., M.D. [1]
Overview
Quingestanol (INN, BAN) is a steroidal progestin which was never marketed.[1] An acylated derivative, quingestanol acetate, is used as a pharmaceutical drug.[1]
While quingestanol is sometimes used as a synonym for quingestanol acetate, what is almost always being referred to is actually quingestanol acetate and not quingestanol.
