Rabies x ray

CXR may show infiltrates secondary to aspiration, pneumonia, acute respiratory distress syndrome and congestive heart failure.

• There are no x-ray findings associated with rabies. However, an x-ray may be helpful in the diagnosis of complications of rabies, which include infiltrates on CXR secondary to:
  • Aspiration
  • Pneumonia
  • Acute respiratory distress syndrome
  • Congestive heart failure
