There are no clear recommendations on the primary prevention of rhinitis.[1]

Primary Prevention

There is no clear primary prevention guideline for rhinitis. The avoidance of common allergens during infancy has been proposed as a primary prevention strategy which can help achieve a reduction of specific sensitization, that frequently result in allergic rhinitis.[2]
