Common physical examination findings of schistosomiasis include generalized lymphadenopathy, hepatosplenomegaly, rash, fever, right upper quadrant tenderness, urticaria, bloody stool.

Patients with schistosomiasis usually appear fatigued and exhausted.

• High-grade / low-grade fever
• Tachycardia with a regular pulse
• Tachypnea
• High blood pressure

• Pallor
• Urticaria
• Purpuric rash

• Cervical lymphadenopathy
• Jugular venous distension in cases of cor pulmanale

• Normal vesicular breath sounds
• Occasional wheezing

• Normal S1, S2
• Signs of right heart failure in cases cor-pulmonale

• Right upper quadrant tenderness
• Abdominal distention
• Hepatosplenomegaly
• Distended abdominal veins
• Ascites

• Genital ulcers
• Hypertrophic lesions or nodular lesions of the cervix, vulva, or vagina
• Vesicovaginal fistula
• Uterine enlargement
• Pelvic pain
• Dysuria

• Joint tenderness
• Sensory/motor abnormalities

• Clubbing
