Patients with schwannoma usually appears normal and have varying physical examination findings depending on the location and extent of the tumor.

• Skin examination of patients with schwannoma usually reveals lumps under the skin.

• Xerophthalmia, Xerostomia.
• Reduced hearing acuity.
• Abnormal Weber test.
• Abnormal Rinne test.

• Neck examination of patients with schwannoma is usually normal.

• Pulmonary examination of patients with schwannoma is usually normal.

• Cardiovascular examination of patients with schwannoma is usually normal.

• Abdominal examination of patients with schwannoma is usually normal.

• Back examination of patients with schwannoma is usually normal other than any lumps/swellings.

• Genitourinary examination of patients with schwannoma is usually normal.

• Neuromuscular examination of patients with schwannoma is usually abnormal depending upon the tumor location.
• Facial numbness (paresthesia), hypesthesia, and pain suggestive of cranial nerve V deficit.
• Facial paresis, taste disturbances, xerophthalmia, lacrimation, xerostomia suggestive of cranial nerve VII deficit.
• Sensorineural hearing loss and unsteady gait suggestive of cranial nerve VIII deficit
• Ataxia suggestive of tumor compressing the cerebellum or brainstem

• Extremities examination of patients with schwannoma is usually normal.
