• Ferritin levels may be raised (serum)
• Hypoglycaemia
• Ketoacidosis
• Ketosis
• Kaliuresis (elevated urine potassium)
• Thyroid hormone binding globulin levels may be low
• Hyperuricemia (elevated uric acid levels)
• Urine pH may be low
