Stenotrophomonas
Stenotrophomonas is a genus of Gram-negative bacteria.[1] With species ranging from common soil organisms (S. nitritireducens) to opportunistic human pathogens (S. maltophilia), the molecular taxonomy of the genus is still somewhat unclear.[2]
