Physical Examination
A physical examination may reveal:
Eyes
- Damage to the optic nerve, which is responsible for sight
- Damage to the retina, the part of the eye that receives light
Extremities
- Muscle twitching
Neurologic
- Poor performance on motor (movement) coordination tests
