CT

Head CT scan may be helpful in the diagnosis of subependymal giant cell astrocytoma. Findings on CT scan suggestive of/diagnostic of subependymal giant cell astrocytoma include:[1][2][3][4]

Axial brain CT scan showing an intraventricular mass in the right foramen of Monro area, with cystic and solid components and small areas of calcification.
